The Managing director….
Has spent virtually all his life (Since the age of 14) in butchery.
He arrived in Ledbury in the late 60’s (managing the shop he was one day to own), before leaving to start a family.
He returned in 1977 and took over 71, The Homend, Ledbury.
Joined the Family Business full-time in 1992.
Before that he had spent all his school holidays helping out at the family butchers.
After leaving school and having a brief career in the music industry, he decided to get a real job….
Joined the Family Business in 1993, straight from school.
He took to butchery like a duck to water.
He runs the catering side of the business from the unit in Ledbury, and over the years has won many awards for his sausage!

Jordan has now been with us for 5 years, since deciding that sports science wasn’t for him.
He joined the family business in 2011.
He too has completed his apprenticeship and works in the Ledbury shop alongside his Grandad Dave and Uncle Matt.
Manages our shop in Colwall. He has a wealth of knowledge in butchery and cooking, spending most of his life in the trade.
He joined our team in 2011, and is always there to offer advice when ever needed.

Joined us in 2006.
He is a brilliant pork butcher, who prior to joining us, won many awards for his sausage and bacon.
Joined us in early 2018. Having run his own Butchers Shop; 'Brooks and Clack' in Nearby Malvern he now brings all his energy and experience to us, working in our Ledbury shop
Our newest recruit, Luke is just beginning his career in butchery. Last year he began his apprenticeship and is showing a great desire to learn. He has a keen interest in game too, which we look to encourage.
Joined us in 2010.
Tired of split shifts and the intensity of working in a kitchen as a chef, he decided to leave the kitchen behind and becoming our supervisor in our catering department.
He also trains up our apprentices and has recently joined up with Matt Sweet in our kitchen too, to create some wonderful cooked products, from pies and pasties to meat loaves, pates and quiches.
Has been with us since leaving school 10 years ago.
He served his apprenticeship, and achieved fantastic grades in meat and meat preparation before taking a year out to go travelling.
On his return, he became our production manager, making all our sausage, burgers, white pudding and faggots.
Joined us in 2012.
After a year working with us, he asked if he could do an apprenticeship and within 10 months flew through the course with flying colours.
He is now a fantastic butcher and is assistant supervisor in our catering department.
One of our more experienced members of the team, with over 45 years’ experience. Richard has worked all over in many different rolls butchery has to offer, including having his own shop. Now, we have the benefit of all his expertise.
